More and more Chinese enterprises are bonding with the clubs in La liga. According to the report in Catalonia, the famous Chinese online games company, k88.com is going to sponsor La liga team Espanyol.
Since 2007, Chinese enterprises stepped into Spain, Yingli partnered with Osasuna, Xtep became the shirt supplier of Villareal, LiNing sponsored Sevilla and Espanyol, Jinko shirt sponsored Valencia. Till 2012, La liga turned to be platform which Chinese brands had most exposure.
However, due to the unsustainability and unstability of the partnership, Chinese brands were replaced by others.
The situation was turned back by Wanda and Qbao since 2014-15. Now, Wang Jianlin owned 15% share of Athletico Madrid while Qbao is the shirt sponsor of Real Sociedad and Vallecano.
k8.com, as a rising brand, officially sponsored 2015 Copa America, as their first step in football. They had high exposure not only from the courtside advertising, but also from online and offline campaigns. If k8.com would establish partnership with Espanyol, they could promote their brands successfully to the fans from all over the world.
