A football-themed summer camp was launched by Qbao, the sponsor of Real Sociedad FC and Rayo Vallecano, in Zhengzhou China on June 27.
Real Sociedad’s two youth coaches were invited to the opening ceremony after which they took part in a 3-day training camp for juniors from over 50 local schools.
The duo from the La Liga club will head to the summer camp when the training session ends.
The activities are parts of the youth football scheme which have been long prepared by Qbao and its partner Real Sociedad. The scheme plays a significant role in the strategic partnership between the sides.
Guo Weiwei, a director of Henan’s campus football, commented that the objective of the campaign would be to enlarge the football-related population and help the youth gain all-round development.
The partnership between Qbao and Real Sociedad alongside the latter’s advancement in youth training would boost the development of campus football in Zhengzhou and even Henan Province, Guo added.
