PPTV to let No.1 sports go public

Dong Shuo, the director of sports media in PPTV said on June 2nd, PPTV will set the No.1 Sports Channel free, and let them to go public.

As reported, after the new policy for sports released, the sports online channels like PPTV and Letv become more and more well-known. For now the only one which is running events and hold sports rights is Letv, and PPTV realized that there was room for 4 to 5 competitors in that industry.

So far, Letv, Tencent, Bestv are purchasing rights of key events. Dong Shuo remarked that PPTV is going to obtain more　big events, such as the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, CSL, La liga, CBA and AFC Champions League.
