SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: How Gaming is Changing our World

On 28th May, the press conference and sponsorship ceremony of the 28th FIBA Asia Championship was held in Changsha, Hunan. On the ceremony, relevant leaders from the People’s Government of Hunan Province, General Administration of Sport of China and FIBA Asia inaugurated for emblem and mascot of the event.
After the 28th FIBA Asia Championship settled in Changsha, the emblem and mascot “Lazai”of the event was also announced correspondingly. It is reported that, the event will be held between 23rd September and 3rd October, and the champion team will get the eligibility to participate the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The 28th FIBA Asia Championship is jointly organized by FIBA Asia, CBA and the People’s Government of Hunan Province, which is the highest and largest international and continental sports event held in Hunan province after new China was founded.
Yao Ming, former Chinese NBA player, also gave his best wishes to Chinese basketball team, hoping them could win the eligibility for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
