Tencent NBA press conference launched in Beijing

“It is your turn”, the Press Conference of 2015 Tencent NBA resource promotion was held in Beijing on May, 21st in MasterCard Center. SY Lau, Senior Executive VP of Tencent, delivered the opening speech. He said “Tencent is trying her best to gather NBA fans, and form the value link of NBA in China.” Then the directors on different departments explained the cooperation in their perspectives.

The Deputy General Editor, Zhao said Tencent would broadcast 1500+ NBA games in a season, which included all preseason, regular season and playoff matches.

Tencent is going to run the official websites, fans community and Stars zone of all the NBA teams. “We will have journalists with all 30 teams in 28 cities.”

Besides Zhao, the Vice Director of Video Platform operating Ma, the Director of Technology Department Huang and Account Manager Luan also share their ideas on the press conference.

Moreover, CEO of NBA China Mr Shoemaker, NBA veteran Dr J. , Taiwan Singer Jam Hsiao and Player in China National Basketball Team Zhou Qi also attended.
