Recently Chelsea FC sent a special commissioner along with a consultant of Chelsea FC in China to pay a communicational visit to the local football association of Chengdu China.
Both parties showed interests in establishing strategic partnership in the near future.
The commissioner, on behalf of Chelsea FC, said they were planning to promote Chelsea in China's marketplace by building official relations with Chinese football organizations.
And Chelsea was set to break the ice by partnering Chengdu Football Association (Chengdu FA).
As reported, there was no detailed partnership concluded during the talk.
But Chelsea FC did come with a plan. According to Wang Chunhua, the consultant of Chelsea FC, they selected Chengdu FA partly for that Chelsea was planning the very first professional football team in Chengdu.
And this goal, in practice, would be relatively easier to achieve with help from the local football association and enterprises, Wang continued.
Chengdu FA also looked forward to establishing partnership with Chelsea FC as their secretary believed the current Premier League leader would help them to educate football coaches and enhance the youth training.
