Rumors flew recently about the Chinese buyer for AC Milan. The vice-president of CICC(China-Italy Chamber of Commerce) Fu Yixiang said on the interview that AC Milan is on sale for no doubt, the price would not under 1 billion Euros. Several Chinese companies are planning to fundraise to purchase the former giant in Serie A who won the champion for European Champions League for 7 times.
Fu also expressed that the owner of AC Milan-Berlusconis would definitely sell the club due to the financial problem of himself, “He could not support the team anymore.”
Five companies are involved in the purchase-AC Milan rumor by now, except for a Thailand company, the others are all from China: Wahaha, Wanda, Huawei and Alibaba. Because of the price, no one company could afford it even, not to mention benefit from the deal in short-term.
Fu revealed that in China, there are companies focusing on purchasing AC Milan by fundraising, “big companies share the half, the remaining from fundraising and share market. Every share would not exceed 10 thousand RMB.”
“It is a sweet opportunity for Chinese companies to enter in European first-class league. AC Milan was a great club which means enormous potential.” Fu concluded.
