Sun Yang becomes brand ambassador to Panerai

On September 12, Panerai announced that World and Olympic champion and world record holder Sun Yang has become their new brand ambassador.

At the 2019 Gwangju FINA World Championships, Sun Yang took home gold in both the 200 and 400 meter freestyle. Over the years, he has amassed 3 Olympic golds and 11 World Championships gold medals. After the 2017 Budapest FINA World Championships, Sun Yang became the first swimmer to win the gold medal in all of the middle-to-long-distance (200, 400, 800 and 1500m) freestyle events at the FINA World Championships.

“I have always loved the products and the history of Panerai, and it is an honor for me to become Panerai’s brand ambassador. I have known since I was a kid that I can always become a better swimmer, and this belief helped me to overcome my limits. This is true with Panerai too.
