Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

As the 2019 TOTAL BWF World Championships is being played in Basel, Switzerland, the natural mineral water brand Alps and the Badminton World Federation (BWF) held a signing ceremony in Basel announcing that they have struck a three-year official partnership. Alps now become the official partner to BWF major events and World Tour Finals with Alps also providing safe drinking water to these events.
This is not the first time the two parties have worked together. Last May, Alps served as the sole drinking water supplier to the Sudirman Cup held in Nanning, China, and took the opportunity to promote the badminton event on their official social network accounts, which resulted in a 1420% increase in their Sino Weibo engagement.
Seeing the huge market potential in China for badminton, and the effort of BWF to push their events globally, Alps have realized the immense marketing values of the sport. With the partnership now signed up, Alps wish to draw on their rich experiences of serving sports events and together with the BWF will create sustainable influence for the sport of badminton.
