On March 28, Sina Sports announced that it had renewed its partnership with the upcoming 2019 Masters Tournament for its digital broadcast rights.
As the first Chinese Internet media to report on this tournament and the Chinese online media that have the longest collaboration with the tournament, Sina Sports will report on this first Major of the golf season for the 20th year in a row, and will provide live broadcast and reports of the tournament on all Sina platforms for the 7th year in a row.
The 83rd edition of the Masters will be held from April 8 to April 14 in Augusta, Georgia. Viewers will be able to watch the first Major live via PC, Sina Sports’ WAP and APP, the Sina News APP, Sina Golf’s PC and WAP and the Sina Golf Weibo account. Meanwhile, Sina Sports will also provide news reports, video highlights, fun quizzes and lucky draws related to the tournament.
Besides the official signals available in both English and Chinese, Sina Sports will also provide 6 additional live broadcast signals for the 4th year in a row. The Sina Golf channel will also provide live broadcasts, video-on-demand, players’ interviews, news reports, and the live tournament leaderboard to bring the best viewing experience to its viewers.
