Gary Neville, the former captain of Manchester United and England international has signed with China’s Sina Sports as a guest commentator.
Under the agreement, Neville will provide fortnightly in-depth video analysis of the latest hot topics around European soccer and will also interact with Sina’s online users once a month.
Following similar deals with Carlo Ancelotti and Michael Owen, Gary Neville becomes the third soccer celebrity in the partnership to boost Sina Sport’s engagement with their users.
The Red Devil’s legend spoke to Chinese fans in a video clip calling on them to watch soccer via Sina.
Sina Sports is a subsidiary of China’s leading portal site Sina.com and is also one of the digital broadcasters of the Premier League during the 2015/2016 season alongside Levt Sports and Tencent Sports.
Their website also claims it will sign up another European soccer star this weekend.
