Chinese sports marketing company SECA has agreed a 5-year partnership with American motorsports digital media Motorsport Network, to bring more motor sport content to Chinese audiences.
Motorsport Network is an American-based multinational digital media company focusing on motor sports. Their portfolio includes top level global motor sport properties, such as Formula 1, Formula E, FIA World Endurance Championship, MotoGP, NASCAR and provides content to 25 countries in the world covering 17 different languages.
SECA has a series of businesses around sports, including the operation of sports events, athlete agency, youth sports training, PR consultancy, media production and media channels. In this partnership, their digital sports media channel zhibo.tv which broadcasts badminton, table tennis, snooker and many other sports, will particularly be utilized to partner and collaborate with Motorsport Network.
Motorsport Network will have its own channel on Zhibo.tv and will set up a Weibo account. The channel will translate and edit content on the global platform of Motorsport Network and will film and produce exclusive content tailored to the interests of Chinese motorsport fans.
The two parties will also collaborate on marketing opportunities for both Chinese and international companies, to help Chinese companies undertake global marketing and content marketing opportunities and to help overseas companies to market their product in the Chinese market.
