SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Qualifier, China versus Syria is going to take place in the Shanghai Baoshan Sports Center on November 29 at 8pm Beijing time. To light the fire ahead of the game, a campaign was carried out to transform Shanghai subway carriages into basketball courts.
The Shanghai subway Line 3 carriages, which takes you to Shanghai Baoshan Sports Center, has since November 13, been fully decorated with the basketball theme to promote the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Qualifiers.It is like stepping onto a basketball court when people enter the subway.
Ticket sales for the big game started yesterday (November 15) on the Damai website with ticket prices ranging from CNY50 to CNY2,980.
This round of qualifiers will take place from November 29 to December 3, 2018 with the next round of qualifiers taking place from February 21 to 25, 2019. The World Cup is scheduled for play from August 31 to September 15, 2019, in eight Chinese cities.
