It is also the 16th consecutive season that Nike has achieved double-digit growth in the Greater China area.
For the global market, Nike also achieved an overall increase of 6%, having a total revenue of USD36.397bn.
Last year, Nike opened their largest Nike experience store in the Greater China region in Beijing’s Zhongguancun. It also joined forces with sportswear retailer Pou Sheng International to open the largest Jordan flagship store in Asia at the Beijing Shimao Tianjie. At the same time, Nike has not neglected their Chinese online channels. In August 2017, Nike ranked #1 in terms of sales quantity among all sportswear brands on Alibaba’s Tmall.com.
