On June 11, MONALISA Group and Serie A’s Internazionale Milano jointly announced an official partnership at the MONALISA headquarters in Foshan, Guangdong Province, making MONALISA Tiles an Official China Partner of Inter Milan and the first tile sponsor of the Serie A outfit.
This is the second time that the MONALISA Group have formed a connection with Italy after they set up a production base and a R&D center in Italy in 2016 and 2017 respectively. They initially launched a joint venture factory in Casalgrande in collaboration with Gruppo Romani SpA, and set up an R&D center in Sassuolo in collaboration with Vetriceramici.
This cooperation is also seen as MONALISA Tiles trying to speed up their globalization progress through sports marketing. “Football is borderless and belongs to the whole world. We hope that MONALISA Tiles will also get all over the world.” said Xiao Libiao, the President of MONALISA Group.
Samuel Mao, the Commercial Director, China at FC Internazionale Milano, said that MONALISA Tiles is the first sponsor of Inter from the tile industry, which is also a significant breakthrough for Inter.
Legendary Italian football player Marco Materazzi was also present at the signing ceremony as a representative of Inter.
At the beginning of 2018, MONALISA Group became an Official Support Partner of the 18th Asian Games that will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia later this year.
