SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

On June 11, LaLiga and Chinese automobile brand Dongfeng Fengguang held a signing ceremony at the LaLiga headquarters in Madrid, Spain, making Dongfeng Fengguang the Official China Regional Automobile Sponsor of LaLiga for the 2018-2019 season.
In the future, the two parties will collaborate on brand communication, marketing campaigns and service promotions.
Dongfeng Fengguang will organize the nationwide, Fengguang LaLiga Youth Football Challenge tournament, invite LaLiga football stars to visit China, set up youth training camps for young players and select promising future stars from young Chinese players to visit and train in Spain.
Dongfeng Fengguang belongs to the Dongfeng Xiaokang Automobile Co., Ltd. and is dedicated to creating passenger automobiles that include multi-purpose vehicles, SUVs and cars.
Established 15 years ago, Dongfeng Xiaokang treasures innovation and the value “all for customers”. Dongfeng Fengguang claims to be the smartest automobile brand in the Chinese automobile industry. By partnering with LaLiga, the league that has a reputation for outstanding football skills in Europe, the brand hopes to let the world learn about smart “Made by China” and Chinese brands.
LaLiga teams have won 51 European cup competitions. In the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup, there will be 81 players representing LaLiga and LaLiga 1/2/3 taking part. Around the world, LaLiga has 86 broadcasters, covering 190 countries and regions in the world and reaching over 2.7bn fans globally.
