As an official sponsor of the French National Football Team, the Chinese kitchen appliance manufacturer Vatti has made an official promise to customers that they will offer a “refund” to customers who purchase a specific set of “champion products” if the French national team win the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The promise was made by Vatti in an official letter signed by the President of Vatti , with the rules being published on the company’s official website.
According to the campaign rules, customers who buy any of the designated Vatti products between midnight June 1st and 10pm, June 30th and have the corresponding sales invoice of such purchases dated from June 1st to July 1st will be able to get a refund of the exact price paid if the French team win the 2018 World Cup. But customers need to apply for this refund from July 15-24.
All major online retailing channels are involved in this campaign, namely Tmall, JD.com, Suning and GOME. Vatti’s physical stores will also offer this campaign to customers. The campaign was also released through many print and online media.
However, the refund given to customers will be shopping cards or in-store credit for the various retailing platforms, with the refund being equal to the original purchase price.
The campaign products include kitchen ventilators, water heaters and dish washers with prices ranging from CNY2,500 to CNY4,000.
