Dongfeng Fengshen sponsors Sina 5X5 Golden Futsal League

On June 1, Dongfeng Fengshen (Aeolus) signed a cooperation agreement with Sina Sports at Sina Plaza in Beijng, officially becoming the title sponsor of the 2018 Sina 5x5 Golden Futsal League.

Dongfeng Fengshen is a medium high passenger vehicle brand owned by Dongfeng Motor Corporation, whose manufacturing and sales is led by the Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company. Through this cooperation with Sina 5x5 Golden Futsal League, Dongfeng Fengshen aims to narrow its distance with football fans and consumers to reinforce its brand and product awareness and perceptions. Taking the brand and its automobiles as the basis, the automobile brand aims to carry out comprehensive sports marketing to suit its young and fashionable target customers.  

The Vice General Manager of Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, Li Wei said: “Through the 5x5 Golden Futsal League, we will have a better communications platform with younger consumers and will be able to use methods that better match the younger generation to advertise our brand and products. Sina Sports has strong competitiveness among sports news and sports social media. It can provide a wider reach and help Dongfeng Fengshen  maximize its communication effects.”

“This is the third annual 5x5 Golden Futsal League. The tournament possesses significant impact and communication value on a large scale and has a high quality level in China. These are the core values and advantages that Dongfeng Fengshen appreciates.”

In 2018, the Dongfeng Fengshen 5x5 Golden Futsal League will cover 25 cities including Lanzhou, Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Guiyang, Kunming, Zhengzhou, Changchun, Wuhan, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and others. It is estimated that there will be 3,200 teams and over 32000 players participating. In November, the annual final will be held and the winning teams from each city will compete in the national finals. The overall prize money will be CNY1m. 

As the title sponsorship was officially announced, registration channels have been open  for sign-ups for the 2018 Dongfeng Fengshen 5x5 Golden Futsal League. Players from each city are also able to sign up through the Sina Sports official website and Dongfeng Fengshen stores.
