At a press conference held on April 4, the German automobile manufacturer PORSCHE AG announced that they had become one of the Official Sponsors of the premium half marathon in Beijing, the 2018 Beijing International Running Festival-Beijing Half Marathon.
Under this partnership, PORSCHE AG will provide a set of cars to act as official cars of the race, including transportation for timekeepers and camera operators.
Yutang Sports helped bring about the partnership between Porsche and the 2018 Beijing International Running Festival-Beijing Half Marathon.
It is the second year of a partnership between Yutang Sports and the Beijing International Running Festival with Yutang Sports acting as the latter’s partner of promotion. Last year, Yutang Sports assisted the drinking water brand C’estbon, the energy drink brand Mulene and the watch brand RARONE in joining forces with the race.
When it comes to this year’s event, Yutang Sports also helped the race organisers to retain their partnerships with C’estbon and Mulene, as well as welcoming two new partners, PORSCHE AG and the Chinese communication enterprise, UINCALL.
Inaugurated in 1956, the Beijing International Running Festival-Beijing Half Marathon is one of the most popular running events in Beijing, attracting over 20,000 runners annually in recent years. This year, the race’s route will stretch from Tian’anmen Square to the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest).
