Future of Sport: A Global Sports Week x Viva Technology Collaboration, Will Open in June 14

According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, the Beijing Ice Sports Training Center construction project is right on track, and the Construction Project Department has just been officially set up.
The Beijing Ice Sports Training Center is located in the central area of Yanqing District. It will cover an area of about 152 acres, with a state of the art gymnasium, a teaching & administration building and an athletes dormitory building. The total area is approximately 60,000 square meters, mainly including 6 standard real ice rinks (2 for figure skating, 2 for short track speed skating and 2 for ice hockey), 8 curling tracks as well as changing rooms and equipment rooms.
This project has been listed as one of the key projects in Beijing for 2017. It is planned to start construction in the second quarter of 2017, and complete by December 2018.
