According to the Chinese soccer newspaper, Soccer News, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) has released the salaries of football referees in the CFA’s leagues, as well as international football marchers featuring China National Men’s Football Team.
According to the list, referees in Chinese Super League (CSL) games are paid RMB 6,000 per match, while each assistant referee receives RMB 4,000. Meanwhile the salary of referees in China League One is RMB 2,300 per match with each assistant referee receiving RMB 1,600.
However, payments for referees in the Women’s Chinese Super League (WCSL) are much less than CSL. Referees in WCSL games will be paid RMB 1,600 per match, while each assistant referee will receive RMB 1,100.
In matches where the China National Men’s Football Team are involved, the international referee will receive RMB 12,500 for a single match and each of his assistant referees will be paid RMB8,800.
When they are officiating in football tournaments featuring the China National Men’s Football Team, the payment for the referee will be 3,100 per day and each assistant referee will receive RMB 2,200 per day.
What was emphasized by the CFA is that all salaries on the list are salaries before tax.
