On March 7, ANTA Sports Products Limited officially announced that it has become the partner and sports kit sponsor of the second-division club, Zhejiang Greentown, along with unveiling the team’s home and away shirts for the 2018 season.
This deal marks ANTA’s first partnership with a professional football club, as the team players are expected to wear the brand’s sportswear and compete on the pitch of China League One.
Conducted by ANTA’s foreign design team, the new shirt design is a nod to local culture and the team’s commitment to football. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the club, ANTA also has added special elements into the design of the team emblem and the shirt collar.
ANTA also plans to provide more than 130 sports outfit pieces for players to use on the pitch, in training and daily life. The sportswear brand aims to bring advanced technology to the team’s design of training clothes, windbreakers, down jackets, backpacks and luggage.
The company reported a net profit of 3.088 billion yuan by December 2017, representing an increase of 29.4% from the previous year, which means the Chinese brand saw record annual net profits for a third straight year.
