23 May 2024 14:34
On January 31, Chinese sportswear brand PEAK Sports unveiled the uniforms for national teams competing in the 2018 Winter Olympics, including Brazil, Slovenia, New Zealand, Iceland, Ukraine and Romania.
According to the designer Murovec Sandi, the Chinese brand has combined iconic elements of each country into their Olympic uniforms. For example, the green Slovenian uniform is a nod to Ljubljana, the European Green Capital and Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps.
Xu Zhihua, CEO of PEAK Sports, highlighted the PEAK Temperature Control Technology specifically designed for the uniforms, which uses a three-tier design to ensure insulation, breathability, and heat and humidity balance for outdoor sports enthusiasts in winter.
“Our brands and products are getting more and more recognition all over the world. During the 4 years from the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, PEAK will continue to promote the technology development of Winter Olympics as well as provide excellent products for the public, engaging more customers to enjoy the charm of winter sports.”
