China Mobile subsidiary MIGU obtain digital live streaming rights to 2018 FIFA World Cup

At the Marathon Gala-China 2017, the Chinese Athletics Association (CAA) unveiled its Chinese Marathon Market Data Report for 2017.
Over 2017, the number of marathon races held in China was 1100 with no less than 800 runners participating in each event and 256 of these events being authorized by the CAA.
Among these 1100 events, 12 events were IAAF Label Road Races, while 44 road races were authorized as CAA Golden Label Road Races and 38 races sanctioned as CAA Silver Label Road Races. Additionally, 79 CAA Bronze Label Road Races were also unveiled at the Gala.
The marathon industry generated a revenue of RMB 70bn, an increase of 20% from the previous year, with 2.72 million employees working in this industry.
Reportedly, in 2017, the number of companies focusing on marathon race operations and authorized by the CAA was 191. Meanwhile, over 800 companies sponsored marathon events.
