An inauguration ceremony was held on January 16 in Beihai Hailang Yangguang Sports Training Eastern Base, to welcome the settle-down of the Inner Mongolia China-German Football Talent Training Center.
The youth training brand, the Inner Mongolia China-German Football Talent Training Center, made its debut in April 2017, as a part of the partnerships between the Inner Mongolia Football Association, Baotou Rare Earth Hi-Tech Zone and the German football club Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
The brand aims to set up a well-established football youth training model, combining the resources from the local government, universities, international clubs and the public.
The new Beihai Base was established as the Center decided to cooperate with Beihai Hailang Yangguang Sports Industry Limited Company, regarding football training, events operation, infrastructure construction and commercial development.
In November 2017, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region government also signed a deal with the General Administration of Sports of China to create a professional football TV channel.
