Natural mineral water brand Alps sign three-year partnership with BWF

Beijing Enterprises Real-Estate Group Ltd. (BEREGL) has announced a 10-year partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB), which will see the two sides promote the development of baseball in China.
The partnership aims to expand the number of baseball facilities in the world’s most populous country. Specifically, the plan is to build at least 20 development centers, which will allow talented Chinese students in grades 7-12 to learn baseball skills alongside a normal academic curriculum.
According to a China Daily report, “MLB currently maintains three Development Centers in Wuxi, Changzhou and Nanjing, which helped three graduates sign contracts with MLB teams…” In the future, the league will continue to introduce professional players and coaches in China.
At the signing ceremony, BEREGL has also officially launched two clubs, Beijing BG Brothers Baseball Club and Beijing BG Tigers Baseball Club.
In 2015, Chinese national sports governing body released a 10-year plan to develop baseball into a $7.59 billion-dollar industry.
