December 21: As the Pyeongchang 2018 inches closer, Amway Nutrilite, the official partner of the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC), has launched the new edition of their nutritional support project for China’s Olympic Team.
Nutriltite representatives launchedthe nutritional support project at a ceremony in Beijing,. This nutritional support project will include accelerating athletes’ rehabilitation andincreasing their immunity to disease. To relieve athletes’ stress and improve their sleep quality are also important to the China Olympic Team.
According to media reports, Nutrilite first signed with China’s Olympic Team in April 2000 and have offered nutritional support to the team since the Sydney 2000 Games. Later in 2004, the brand renewed its partnership deal with the team for Athens 2004. It was also the year when some of China’s Olympic gold medalists became Nutriliteambassadors in China, such as top female diver Fu Mingxia and male diver Tian Liang, the 110m hurdler Liu Xiang as well as China’s National Gymnastics Team.
The third partnership renewal between the brand and China’s Olympic Team was struck before London 2012. Another renewal was made in 2013, which saw Nutrilite become the nutrition supplement sponsor of the COC and allowed the brand to launch this nutritional support project for China’s Olympic Team.
