30 Young Sports Makers selected to shake up the future of sport at Global Sports Week 2021

The 2017 HOBIE 16 Asian Sailing Championships took place in Shenzhen from December 8 to 10, where the Chinese TV-set producer FunTV acted as one of the main sponsors of the event. During the event, FunTV provided their users and the event’s fans with sports and entertainment content.
The first edition of the HOBIE 16 World Sailing Championships was inaugurated in Hawaii. Since then the Championships take place every 3 years and have become one of the premier sailing events of World Sailing (formerly known as ISAF).
Reportedly, 66 sailors from China mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Fiji,the Netherlands and other countries took part in this edition of the event. Representatives from the water sports sector of China’s General Administration of Sport also attended the opening ceremony of the event.
Founded in 2015, FunTV is a manufacturer of Internet TV sets. With support from one of the company’s shareholders, BesTV, FunTV also integrates various content in its TV sets including news, movies, sports programs and TV series.
