November 15: Sports Bureau of Zhejiang Province and Alisports have jointly announced the signing of a partnership agreement, which will see the two sides work together to support the sports sector in Zhejiang Province.
Under the agreement, the two sides will focus more on technology in the famous Hangzhou Marathon, which takes place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, making the race the first ever internet-featured marathon.
Meanwhile, this partnership will also cover the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou. By leveraging their strengths in cloud services, digital media and big data, Alisports will assist the organizing committee of Hangzhou 2022 to serve the games.
The sports bureau will also bring international sports events to Zhejiang Province, such as the FINA World Aquatics Championships, based on Alisports partnership with international sports federations. Up to now, Alisports has partnered with Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA), International Boxing Association (AIBA) and the Blackpool Dance Festival in the UK.
In terms of mass sports, the two sides will support sport among residents in Zhejiang through Alisport’s Sports Account service .
