Davide Lippi, son of the China national team manager Marcello Lippi, has announced the Jianghan District, Wuhan-based Shier Xingkong Football Club (Chinese: 十二星空足球俱乐部) as its first youth training partner in China.
Under the partnership, along with other support, two coaches from Davide Lippi’s football academy will stay in Jianghan for the football training of local elementary schools.
At the same time, Jianghan will also publish different football training textbooks for students aged 6-8, 9-12 and 13-16 and set up campus football teams.
At the signing ceremony, both Marcello Lippi and football player Giorgio Chiellini sent his regards by video. Marcello Lippi once said China’s national team has made “significant progress” since he replaced Gao Hongbo in October last year.
Shier Xingkong, consisting of players from more than 20 schools, was established in 2016 by the local government. The partnership will be helpful for Jianghan in football with youth training.
