LaLiga outfit RCD Espanyol has reached a sponsorship agreement with Leadercf, a Chinese online financial information platform, which will see the Chinese firm become the Official Sponsor of the club.
Under this agreement, the Spanish soccer team will wear shirts bearing Leadercf on the front in 4 games of the 2017/18 season. As stated in a Netease report, Espanyol’s upcoming matches against its rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are expected to be broadcast around the world. During those games, Leadercf will also hold an RMB 50,000 Guess The Score Competition.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday in Guangzhou, in front of Leadercf President Zheng Yansen and Ramon Robert Estella, CEO of the club.
Robert stressed the importance of the Asian market for the club: “We are very pleased to sign up this agreement and are looking to work with our sponsors to reach a win-win situation.”
Zheng also welcomed the partnership with the club: “We hope that we can make our brand known to the world through the Spanish league .”
