July 24: Liverpool Football Club has announced that they have formed a partnership with Chinese mineral water brand Tibet Water, with the latter becoming Liverpool’s official mineral water partner in China.
This partnership will see Tibet Water obtain various marketing resources of Liverpool, including Liverpool’s digital and social media support, as well as access to current players and legends of the club. These resources will allow Liverpool and Tibet Water to create new experiences and avenues for their fans and consumers to reach the club and the brand.
Tibet Water’s Executive Director Sunny Wong stated that partnering with Liverpool was a milestone of the company’s business development. Wong also believed that the partnership would enhance the influence of Tibet Water’s brand and pave the way for them to expand their international business.
Liverpool’s Chief Commercial Officer Billy Hogan said that the partnership with Tibet Water was highly welcomed by Liverpool. He also expressed Liverpool’s expectation in working together with Tibet Water and carrying out more interactive activities to further engage with Liverpool’s Chinese-based fans, allowing Liverpool to build their brand image in China.
