July 2: The first eSports industrial park was officially opened in China. The Dashen eSports industrial park was officially opened in Shenzhen, China with support from the Luohu District, Shenzhen. An eSports academy has also been set up in this Dashen eSports industrial park.
Zhang Ruisheng, CEO of Dashen company, are the operators of the Dashen eSport industrial park. In terms of the operating details of the industrial park, Zhang unveiled that they would integrate eSports events, players, clubs and sponsors into this zone, while also offering training and other gaming services, in order to accelerate the eSports industry’s development. Meanwhile, the first permanent eSports venue in Guangdong Province and the first top eSports event of Shenzhen will land in this park soon.
According to Zhang, the core business of this integrated eSports park is the eSports academy, which aims to develop eSports talent for China. This eSports academy is beneficial for the park to enhance its influence and to become one of the most important and dominant eSports gaming areas.
