A press conference and signing ceremony was held on 7th May in Chengdu, China. Wu Chenxi, founder of Tata Tongchuang, and Steve Dainton, the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Marketing and Commercial Director, attended. By signing a sponsorship agreement with the ITTF, Tata Tongchuang announced to join a host of global partners of the Liebherr 2017 World Table Tennis Championships.
Established in 1999, Tata Tongchuang is a leading wooden door company in China. To partner with the 2017 World Championships, they want to take their brand internationally.
“It is an honour for Tata to become a partner of the 2017 World Championships,” expressed Wuchenxi. “We want to express our respect and passion for the table tennis by partner with the 2017 World Championships. Furthermore, we hope that we can introduce the Tata brand and our wooden doors to more people around the world, showing the excellence in the Chinese products.”
