French fashion brand Promax and Chinese national modern pentathlon team signed into a strategic cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony was held in Guangzhou on 26 Jan. Promax became the strategic partner and official sponsor of China National Modern Pentathlon Association and the national modern pentathlon team.
Modern pentathlon was originated from France. The “father of the modern Olympic”, Frenchman Mr. Pierre de Coubertinand initiated the creation of the project. On the other hand, Chinese national pentathlon team’s performance improved steadily over recent years, expected to win some medals in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Promax officially entered the Chinese market in 2014, the 50th anniversary of French and Chinese establishing foreign relations.
Promax has sponsored several international events of modern pentathlon. It claims its brand culture matches the spirit of pentathlon – courage (fencing), elegance (equestrianism), freedom (swimming), focus (shooting), and consistence (running). Many of its designs also originated from pentathlon, and its brand spirit is “design smart”.
