CMC Capital leads investment in FIA Formula E Championship

On Feb. 14, CMC Capital Partners announced they had bought the shares of Formula E Holdings Limited (FEH), the official promotion company of the FIA Formula E Championship, in a multi-million euro deal. This investment is led by CMC Capital Partners, with its affiliate SECA also participating.

CMC Capital Partners is a comprehensive investment and management organization led by Mr. Ruigang Lee, covering industry leading media, entertainment, sports, internet, mobile and lifestyle businesses.

This investment in Formula E is the latest move of CMC Capital Partners investing in IP for international sports events. Following the investment, CMC Capital Partners will combine the substantial sports promotion resources of SECA to help enhance the media operation capability of Formula E, and further expand the influence of Formula E in China and throughout the world.
