Football winter camp founded in China by Borussia Moenchengladbach

A press conference on the Campus Football Winter Camp co-founded by Taizhou Rural Commercial Bank, Hansum Sports and Borussia Moenchengladbach was recently held in Taizhou, Jiangsu.

The officers of the divisions of foreign affairs and youth training from Moenchengladbach, and Oliver Neuville, former No. 10 on the German national team were welcomed by Taizhou Sports Bureau and Hansum Sports (the sponsors) and Taizhou Rural Commercial Bank (the title sponsor). The press conference was also attended by guests from youth training agencies and schools in Huaiyin, Hunan, Shandong, Shaanxi, Beijing, etc, as well as over 50 young players and over 10 primary coaches.

Gladbach’s first official football winter camp in China will be supported by coaching staff led by Oliver Neuville, the outstanding former national player and head coach of their U19 side. The players and coaches joining the camp will also receive gifts and official certificates. The winter camp covers youth training, theoretical and practical training for coaches, mini-cup matches, tours and other activities. Coaches joining the camp will acquire Bundesliga-level training certificates. Outstanding young players will be given the opportunity of going to Germany on a 2-month official trial. Some of the best will have the possibility of a contract with “Die Fohlen.”
