Espanola Union and the Activation Group jointly announced that a La Liga Club is to be set up in China, the first official fan club of La Liga in China. Those in attendance included Javier Tebas, President of La Liga, Fernando Morientes and Mitchell Salgado, legendary stars & ambassadors of La Liga and Fernando Sans, an ex-Real Madrid player and director of La Liga International Project. They intend to bring a brand-new football experience to the fans.
As part of the ceremony, the guests watched a live game between Barcelona and Valencia at the Shanghai International Ferry Terminal by the Huangpu River. As spirits were high, a star team (made up of people like Huang jianxiang, Yuan chengjie) and a supermodels team played a football match on the spot. Fans cheered them on rapturously.
The La Liga Club will produce a TV play named “Meeting the Boy” on the theme of the Chinese Dream and the Football Dream. The Club will also produce "Star Team", a reality show, in association with Hunan Satellite TV. On top of all this, the club will establish the world’s first La Liga Football Entertainment Experience Center and an official La Liga training school.
