Sports digital media and talent platform GlobalSportsJobs has announced a partnership with Alisports, the sports umbrella of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba.
This deal aims to support the Chinese online sports marketing firm’s domestic and international expansion plans. Under this deal, GlobalSportsJobs will provide Alisports with a range of digital talent acquisition solutions, including the rights to advertise career opportunities across its multilingual platforms.
At the same time, the partnership will also see the two sides work together to promote Alisports’ international branding with bespoke talent plans.
As Karl Oliver, executive chairman of GlobalSportsJobs, said: “Alisports has recognised that GlobalSportsJobs is the ideal platform to work with in furthering its digital talent acquisition programme. We are very proud to partner with Alisports and look forward to building on our strong relationship with them in what are exciting times for the development of the sports industry in China.”
Helen Lu, vice-president of Alisports, added: “There is huge opportunity in China’s sports market. Alisports aims to boost the sports industry and benefit more partners and consumers by creating a base platform through big data in the ecosystem of Alibaba. We are glad to partner with GlobalSportsJobs and wish to experience great success in a market that is undergoing rapid growth.”
