Alibaba’s sports subsidiary Alisports has entered into a partnership with Full Swing Golf, a San Diego based company specializing in cutting edge Golf Simulation Technology.
As stated in a report, the pair aim to attract new and avid golfers to the sport, thus growing the game of golf in China. To do so, the partnership will include golf-related integrated marketing and cross-promotional programs. Full Swing is also looking to launch the first Tiger Woods branded simulator, as part of this partnership.
"We believe Full Swing Golf's unmatched technology and relationship with Tiger Woods will propel golf forward in China, allowing golfers greater accessibility to the game," said Alisports CEO Zhang Dazhong.
As Tiger Woods said, this new partnership “gives me the opportunity to work with Jack Ma who is someone I respect tremendously because of everything he has been able to accomplish in his life."
