The National Hockey League(NHL)side Boston Bruins are set to start the club’s first ever China Tour in Beijing and Shanghai next week, according to Chinese news site People.com.cn.
The China Tour is part of the agreement signed last November between Boston Bruins and Chinese company O.R.G. Packaging. It will see Boston Bruins stars and youth coaches take part in summer hockey camps and carnivals which will be opened in Beijing and Shanghai next week.
As well as this, the two sides will also announce an extended deal at the Bird’s Nest on 13rd July, according to a senior executive of O.R.G. The deal will mark the Chinese packaging company becoming the exclusive presenter of the club’s right winger David Pastrňák.
O.R.G is a Beijing-based packaging company which agreed a partnership last November with Delaware North Companies to promote NHL side Boston Bruins in China. The company is also a stakeholder of sports startup Sports8.
