Shanghai University of Sport (SUS) and Shanghai FANC VR have agreed to set up a joint Sports VR Research Center, which will be the first of its kind in China.
The soon-to-be established Sports VR Research Center will be used to explore the newest trend in sports VR with the help of the two parties’ respective advantages. It will also provide SUS’ students with practical opportunities to make sports VR content. As well as this the deal will enable FANC to enrich their talent reserves in their areas.
This is the first time that the sports VR industry has joined forces with China’s leading sports university.
Zhang Jinlong, CEO of FANC VR, said “SUS has set a banner in the research and education of sports news communication with a large number of elites in sports media. And FANC is an experienced company in sports VR. With the rapid growth of VR technology, FANC certainly needs more new strengths and innovations.”
