SPORTACCORD 2024 INSIGHTS: Sport’s Perfect Storm

Chinese mobile game Grow Away has become the gold sponsor of 2015 WTA Tianjin Open which is to be held in Tianjin, China from October 12 to October 18.
Two characters in the game are selected as the event’s mascots which will be placed at the venue, including ticket office and souvenir bar and will be printed onto cloth bags as well.
The sides will work together to present a tennis feast for the audience under the partnership, of which the detail terms was not disclosed.
The organizing committee of the 2015 Tianjin Open will double the prize money and introduce Hawk-Eye tracking system in order to enhance the presence of the competition.
2015 WTA Tianjin Open is the second time this event will be hosted since 2014.
Grow Away is a mobile game stemmed from Chinese animation with the same name and has got 300 million cumulative app downloads since launched in 2012.
