New Strategic Director for Wanda Sports

Marco Bogarelli, current president of Infront Italy, has been appointed the new Strategic Director of Wanda Sports Holding.

It is said that Bogarelli will keep his position as President of Infront Italy. At the same time, Luigi de Siervo will take over as CEO of Infront Italy.

The new appointment, to take effect on 20 June 2016, will see Bogarelli report directly to Philippe Blatter, President and CEO of Wanda Sports.

In his new position, Bogarelli is set to focus on key markets like France, Spain and the UK for potential business opportunities. Also, he will work on “anticipating trends in future media distribution and in the design of respective strategic concepts and proposals”, as reported by an official post.

Marco Bogarelli, designated Strategic Director for Wanda Sports said, “I am proud to be appointed Strategic Director for Wanda Sports Holding.”

“In my new role I will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for the Group, contributing also a continuous strategic view in the media and digital landscape.” He added.
