SPORTACCORD confirms Istanbul as Host City for 2025 Convention

Premier League side Manchester City are set to play against Borussia Dortmund in a friendly match in Shenzhen on July 28.
The Blues will head to China for their summer tour and while there are also expected to play a historic Manchester derby. This would be part of the Chinese section of the International Champions Cup series, in which United face Dortmund in Shanghai on July 22.
The idea of a Manchester derby - the first ever to take place overseas - was discussed at a meeting between club executives and ICC officials last week.
This summer tour is a huge one for City, as it will be their first pre-season under incoming manager Pep Guardiola and they also expect to have two or three big-name players added to the squad.
Earlier in December, City signed a significant deal with China Media Capital Holdings. The latter bought a 13% share of City’s parent company, City Football Group, with the hope that the high-profile investors will crack the Chinese market wide open for them.
