The SportAccord will be held at the Beijing National Convention Center from 19-24 April 2020. Today, there are still 100 days before the opening of the Beijing SportAccord.
Beijing will become only the second city, after Lausanne in Switzerland, to have welcomed back SportAccord for a second time, having staged the 2007 edition of sport’s most influential annual gathering a year before the city hosted the 2008 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Chen Jining, the mayor of Beijing and executive chairman of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee, said that Beijing won the right to host the SportAccord 2020, which fully reflects the SportAccord’s trust in Beijing. The President of SportAccord and the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) Raffaele Chiulli believes that the SportAccord at Beijing will be a key event.
