Chinese Super League Co. Ltd (CSL) yesterday (29thFebruary) announced a partnership with a Beijing IT company to jointly develop an official APP for China’s top tier soccer league.
The to-be-developed new mobile application for the CSL will serve as an important channel to release authoritative information as well as to promote the 16 CSL clubs. The APP will enable CSL audiences to access news, data and records for all 16 CSL teams. In addition to information, the APP will also provide an interactive section, which is called ‘circle’, to meet CSL fans’ social demands. There will also be columns from CSL reporters and analysts commenting on the CSL.
According to a source, the CSL operating company also intends to add e-commerce and betting sections in the future.
“The official launch of the CSL APP will further bridge a channel of communication between clubs and fans,” said Ma Chengquan, the President of CSL Co. Ltd.
The 2016/2017 season CSL season will kick off on Friday when Guangzhou H&R FC will host Hebei Fortune China FC.
