The Bianconeri Legends will be heading over to China to play the “Luvfans Cup Forever Legends Friendly Match”, an exciting exhibition game against a selection of local legends, on Friday 25 March.
The match, organised by Luvfans Network Technology, was announced yesterday afternoon at an official press conference in Shanghai, where a Bianconeri delegation was joined by the city’s Deputy Mayor Zhao Wen.
The event follows Juventus’ last visit to Shanghai in August 2015 when the Serie A club played in the 2015 Italian Super Cup against Lazio and received a magnificent welcome. The aims of the event are to encourage a greater number of fans to engage with football and promote the beautiful game in China.
In addition to the game itself, Luvfans will be handing supporters in attendance the chance to take part in a draw that offers six lucky winners the opportunity to win a trip to Italy where they can sample the Juventus experience at first hand.
Juventus have worked hard to raise their profile in China in recently years. Apart from playing games in China, the club have also taken steps to expand their digital reach in China by launching official profiles on Weibo and WeChat.
