SPORTACCORD confirms Istanbul as Host City for 2025 Convention

By the last weekend,the group match of WCVA came to an end.Different with
other years,Guangdong Evergrande failed to enter into playoffs.On the
contrary,they lost all 10 games,even only won 1 set in all.
Evergrande won the title of WCVA in 2012,even the Asia Club Cup in 2013.But as the rule of China league changed, Evergrande lost the stimulation for investing in volleyball.In April 2014,Evergrande merged with Guangdong Women’s Volleyball Team.In August, the team moved out of the Evergrande Basement.The Head Coach,Langping went to National Team,main players transferred while the bench players left.
Five years ago,for IPO in Hongkong,Evergrande pour 20m RMB in volleyball.They purchased almost all the top-class players in China.In 2011,Evergrande even signed the MVP of 2011 Women’s Volleyball World Cup——Constagrand.Moreover,they hired Langping as the Head Coach,and gave her a salary of 5m RMB for a year.
However , Evergrande possibly would end with bankruptcy and the team is facing to be dismissed.
