At a recent brand strategy conference, Wisdom Sports, a Hong Kong listed sports marketing company, announced it is working on a sport-related health database. The company has already launched an online events registration system, which will serve both mass sports organizers and participants.
As reported, the sports group has come up with a plan to connect individuals, smart devices and sports venues. Its aim is to set up a Wisdom health cloud platform for Chinese people. Ren Wen, chairperson of the company, said that in addition to clothing, food, shelter and travel, sports is the fifth essential for human beings. To this end, Wisdom is attempting to initiate a high quality lifestyle in China, providing all-round services within the sports ecosystem.
Besides, Wisdom will also expand its sports business in sports training, sports tourism, sports derivatives, data analysis within business and consumer services. According to a recent report from the China Daily, Wisdom is also intent on widening the distribution of its own brand, the Season Run Series, to 16 different cities in 2016 from six this year.
